SourceCut Thumb Bay runs along a flat terrace on the shore of Williston Reservoir, and the 18 camping pads are large and open enough that big RVs fit without a struggle. Upgrades by Duz Cho in 2013 sorted out the access as well.
Sites are first come, first served on gravel, with fishing, hiking and the water right there.
Mackenzie is about 29 km away, with fuel a shade closer at about 28 km and 33 mountain bike trails about 27 km out. One trip in should cover the shopping. Maybeline Lake is about 9 km off.
