About this site
SourceA riverbank camp on the Manson River, well out in the Mackenzie backcountry. Anglers who like working moving water will find rainbow and bull trout, whitefish and the odd arctic grayling, and in the fall it doubles as a hunting camp.
Six units, all first come, first served, gravel access, with a boat launch. It is user-maintained, which means facilities are basic and staying tidy is on you.
Manson Creek is the nearest community at about 37 km, and the closest fuel, a Co-op, is roughly 64 km, so treat this as a full-tank, full-cooler trip. Curve Lake is about 7 km away.
