SourceDouglas fir and a terraced shoreline give Barton Lake its shape. Camping is split between two entrances off the road: the first takes 5 groups, the second sits about 200 metres along and takes 2 more.
That is 7 sites in total, all first come, first served, on gravel access, with a boat launch for small craft and fishing off the shore.
The water is about 0.8 km from the pads. Punchaw is about 14 km away, but the nearest fuel is roughly 44 km off at Bednesti Lake Resort, so come in fuelled up and carrying everything you need.
