About this site
SourcePaddlers use Mohun Lake as a jumping-off point, and the lake gives them islands and sandy beaches to aim for. Smaller boats can slip through the narrows into Mohun Lagoon. The site sits on the Sayward Forest Canoe Route, so it also works as one night of a longer trip.
Two sites, first come, first served, with gravel access and a boat launch. Maintenance is left to campers.
Duncan Bay is about 17 km out and has fuel at the same distance. The Trout Creek Falls trail on Mohun Creek starts about 7 km away, and Campbell River, with 277 mountain bike trails, is about 19 km off.
