About this site
SourceMorton Lake Provincial Park sits in the lake country northwest of Campbell River, with lake-front campsites, a sandy beach on Morton Lake and access to Mohun Lake next door. From April to June and September to October the fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and Dolly Varden on Mohun can be excellent.
About 24 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access, with a boat launch and pit toilets. The park is also the doorway to the Sayward Canoe Route, a 47 km paddle-and-portage circuit.
Services are back toward Campbell River, about 16 km, whose 277-trail riding network is roughly 18 km from camp.
