SourceCrooked Lake Recreation Site sits in the same country as Browne Lake, near Big White in the Okanagan. It is a fishing lake with camping beside it and very little else, which is the appeal for some people.
Camping is first come, first served, with pit toilets. Access is by forest service road, so check road conditions before you commit and bring a vehicle you trust on gravel.
This one is remote. Myra Canyon is about 34 km away and the nearest fuel, the Black Mountain Esso, roughly 36 km, so fill up and load water and food before you leave pavement. Linden Lake is about 7 km off, and Bike Big White with 25 trails around 16 km.
