About this site
SourceFire went through here in 2007 and burned the forest around Nevertouch Lake, and salvage logging followed in 2008. Trees that were unburned and safe were left standing in the camping areas, so expect open ground with patches of shade rather than deep forest.
The 15 sites are first come, first served on gravel, with a boat launch and fishing on the lake.
Supplies are a serious drive: Myra Canyon is about 39 km off and the nearest fuel roughly 43 km, so shop and gas up long before the last turn. Big White's 25 bike trails are about 14.3 km away and Two John Lake about 8.9 km.
