SourceCamping at Fort Rodd Hill is a five-site affair in the Victoria area, reservations only, with the usual fire pits, pit toilets and water on tap. It is a place to sleep in the middle of things rather than away from them.
View Royal is about 2.4 km for supplies and a Petro-Canada is about 1.7 km out, so nothing needs planning far in advance.
The Thetis Lake trailhead is about 3.7 km away and Colwood Lake about 2.7 km, with Langford's 14 mountain bike trails about 4.7 km from camp.
