About this site
SourceKentucky-Alleyne Provincial Park pairs two turquoise lakes with rolling grassland and dry open forest in the heart of cattle country, under 90 minutes from the central Okanagan. It was a locals-only fishing spot for years, and it still feels that way midweek.
About 74 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access. Kentucky and Alleyne Lakes carry the fishing, with Alleyne about a kilometre from camp; hiking, biking, swimming and a boat launch fill in the rest. Spring pastels and gold autumns bracket the season.
Aspen Grove is about 5 km away, but the nearest listed fuel is about 20 km, so top up around Merritt on the drive in.
