About this site

Source

Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park is an easy high-country getaway in the Kamloops area, built around a lake with a long reputation for fishing. The water sits 500 m from camp, which is close enough that a rod before breakfast is the normal way to start.

About 80 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access, with pit toilets, potable water and fire pits. Swimming, biking, hiking and a boat launch fill the days, and the Stake Lake trails start about 4 km away.

Trapp Lake is the nearest listed community at about 18 km and fuel about 20 km, so arrive topped up. Kamloops and its 272-trail riding network are about 23 km off.
