About this site
SourceSussex Lake is more of a day-use fishing and hunting spot than a campground, and the ground around it was logged during the mountain pine beetle harvest, so it is open rather than treed. The lake is about 0.7 km away.
Overnight camping works best for high-clearance trucks with campers: the access needs a 4x4 and the three sites are first come, first served. The site is user-maintained.
Logan Lake covers supplies and fuel at about 19 km, with a Petro-Canada at the same distance. That is the last stop before the turnoff.
