About this site
SourceThe reason to camp at Chist Creek is the rock. The site sits right next to climbing and bouldering ground in the Kitimat area, and it doubles as a day use area.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, with gravel access. No water is available on site, so bring everything you plan to drink and cook with.
Lakelse is about 8 km away, but fuel is farther: a Petro-Canada roughly 24 km out. Onion Lake is about 3 km off, the Clearwater Lakes Trail about 4 km, and Terrace, with 45 mountain bike trails, about 24 km.
