SourceCamping at Fry Peninsula comes in three pieces: a single unit near the forest service road, a large open area beside the water, and one more further along. Paddlers on the Sayward Forest Canoe Route use it as a link in the chain.
The 7 sites are first come, first served, on gravel, with a boat launch. One warning worth taking seriously: the lake level can come up quickly and without notice, so camp and store gear well back from the edge.
Fry Lake is about 0.7 km away. Duncan Bay and the Shell station are both roughly 21 km out. The Trout Creek Falls trailhead is about 13 km, and the 277 trails around Campbell River about 22 km.
