SourceBlackjack is a cross-country ski area near Rossland with about 40 km of groomed trails, and camping here is mostly a way to stay next to that network. The same ground carries biking and hiking.
Four sites, first come, first served, reached on gravel. It is a small, plain setup, so treat it as a basecamp rather than the reason for the trip.
Oasis is about 7 km away and the Seven Summits Service station a similar distance, so supplies and fuel are both a short hop. RED Mountain Bike Park and its 15 trails sit about 5 km off, Murphy Creek about 4 km, the Old Glory Lookout about 6 km, and Ophir Reservoir about 3 km.
