SourceA compact, forested tent site with a small boat launch and a dock, close enough to Smithers that a resupply run is quick. Swimming works here, and the lake is about 0.5 km from camp.
There are 3 tent sites, first come, first served, on gravel. Mountain views and a set of hiking trails nearby fill out the rest.
Smithers covers fuel and groceries about 17 km away, and its 43 mountain bike trails start from around the same spot. Piper Down is about 11 km off and Goldeneye Lake about 15 km.
