SourceGrassy, quiet and small, Taltzen Lake holds 4 units with a little boat launch and views out to the Hankin-Evelyn mountains. Paddling suits it better than anything with a motor, and the lake is about 0.3 km from camp.
Camping is first come, first served and the site is user-maintained. The access road is narrow and often rough, so weigh that against a big trailer.
Doughty is about 13 km away and an Esso about 15 km, so a single stop before the turn does the job. The Hankin Fire Lookout is about 7 km off, and Smithers, about 28 km away, has 43 mountain bike trails.
