About this site

Source

Kitseguecla Lake keeps a small forest camp on the water in the Smithers area, with mountains standing up behind the lake. Fishing is the main event here, and there is a boat launch, a dock and a large parking area to work from. Swimming happens off the same shore.

Six sites, first come, first served, on gravel. The access road is steep enough that big RVs and long trailers are a bad idea; a shorter rig or a tent is the right tool for it.

Doughty is about 15 km away and the nearest fuel, an Esso, about 17 km, so top up before you turn off. Hankin Fire Lookout is about 7 km from camp if you want a view without a long day of walking.
