SourceThe 2023 McDougal Creek wildfire reached this Bear Creek Recreation Site, and large parts of the motorcycle trail network around it are closed while the trees are assessed for hazards. The Okanagan Trail Riders Association is the place to check before planning a riding weekend here.
The campground itself lists 46 sites, first come, first served at $18 a night, up a gravel road in the West Kelowna area.
Traders Cove is 6.9 km away, the nearest fuel is 11.6 km out at the North Glenmore Petro-Canada, and Hayman Lake sits 6.5 km off. Kelowna, 12 km away, carries 303 mountain bike trails.
