About this site
SourceBear Creek Provincial Park camps you on the west side of Okanagan Lake with more than 400 metres of sandy beach and 5 km of marked trail running up into the canyon Bear Creek has cut through bedrock. The creek finishes on a cottonwood delta below.
There are 143 sites, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved roads, with fire pits, pit toilets and drinking water. Swimming, fishing, hiking, biking and a boat launch are all on site, and the gatehouse runs a concession through the summer.
Traders Cove is about 2 km away and a Canco about 3.2 km for fuel. Kelowna's 303 mountain bike trails start about 3.4 km from camp, and the Smith Creek area is about 13.6 km out.
