About this site
SourceThis is alpine camping rather than a drive-in campground. Hiking and mountaineering are the reasons to come, the trailhead is at the site, and the tent pads sit up in the subalpine near each of the three lakes. Above the subalpine you can camp where you like; below it, use a designated site.
There are 31 designated sites in all, first come, first served, and the area is user maintained. The road to the trailhead is gravel.
Come fully supplied. Pemberton Meadows is 18.1 km away and the nearest fuel is 31.6 km, which makes gas an errand for the start of the trip. The nearest lake is 1.7 km in.
