About this site
SourceOwl Creek sits on dry open forest between the Birkenhead River and the creek itself near Pemberton, on what used to be a homestead. A small apple orchard still stands, which means bears come through, so keep food locked in the vehicle and the site clean.
The 15 sites are large and open at $18 a night, first come, first served, on gravel. There are no hookups, but RVs fit and groups do well here. Fishing is the main draw and it does not usually get crowded.
Líl̓wat / Mount Currie is about 3.5 km away and Lil'wat Gas about 3.4 km, so supplies are minutes off. Mosquito Lake is about 2.1 km from camp and Pemberton's riding roughly 6.1 km away.
