About this site
SourceThe Stave Lake reservoir rises and falls a long way, and Rocky Point sits right on its foreshore in the Mission area, inside the Mission tree farm licence. At low water there can be as much as 300 metres of exposed shore between camp and the lake, which is worth knowing before you plan a swim.
There are 30 sites, first come, first served, reached on gravel.
Stave Falls is about 9 km away for supplies, and the nearest fuel is about 14 km out, so top up on the way in. Sayres Lake sits about 1 km from camp.
