SourceHalfway River Hotsprings exists for the soak. The springs are about 0.3 km from camp in the Nakusp area, and everything else about the place is secondary to that short walk.
There are 20 sites at $20 a night, first come, first served, on gravel access. Kootenay Boundary rec sites take no reservations at all, and a site host now manages this one after years of it being treated badly.
Halcyon is about 8 km away, but the closest gas is about 28 km, so fill the tank while you still have the choice. Harris Lake is about 9 km off.
