About this site
SourceWilson Lake runs about 4.5 km, deep and narrow, with most of its shoreline steep enough that a boat is the only way to reach it. The recreation site at the west end matches that character: a thin shelf of ground below a cliff face, with a launch and good fishing.
Two sites here, first come, first served, with gravel access.
Box Lake is about 5 km away and fuel at Carson's Corner about 8 km, which makes this one of the easier sites to resupply from. Kimbol Lake is about 4 km off, the Cedar Grove Trail about 7 km, and Valhalla Hills Nordic about 14 km.
