About this site

Source

Horseshoe Lake is a quiet little lake with a small island sitting in the middle of the view, and the camp is right at the roadside near the bridge in the Nakusp area. It fishes well and tends to be passed over in favour of Wilson Lake, about 2.5 km away.

There are 2 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, with a launch better suited to a canoe than anything heavy.

Box Lake is about 5.5 km off and the nearest fuel, Carson's Corner, about 8.3 km, worth a stop on the way in. Kimbol Lake is about 3.6 km away and the Cedar Grove Trail about 6.2 km.
