SourceCamping wraps the south and west sides of Loon Lake, partly treed and large enough to spread out in. Only electric motors are allowed on the water, which suits fishing and paddling more than anything fast.
There are 40 sites, first come, first served at $15 a night on gravel, and an operator is on site to collect the fee.
Grasmere is the closest town at 2.7 km, handy for a forgotten item. Fuel is a longer errand at 20.8 km, so fill up on the way in. Edwards Lakes are 3.1 km away.
