SourceEnglishman Creek Recreation Site spreads along Lake Koocanusa where the creek enters the reservoir, split into two sections with a bay between them. Mature Douglas fir shades virtually every site, which matters in this hot corner of the province.
The site has 56 first come, first served sites at $15 a night on gravel access, with a boat launch, swimming and fishing on the big water.
Kragmont is under 3 km away, but the nearest listed fuel is about 18 km, so fill up in the Fernie area on the way through.
