SourceA small fishing lake up in the hills near Nakusp, Snowshoe Lake gives you a choice of grassy or treed campsites and water close enough to the road that a canoe goes in without a launch. Quiet fishing is the point.
There are three sites, first come, first served. The access needs a 4x4, so plan the vehicle accordingly.
Needles is about 7 km away and JS Snacks about 9 km for fuel. The Arrow Slocan trail network, 75 trails, is about 25 km off if you are travelling with bikes.
