About this site
SourceThe campsites at Sasquatch Lake are roomy, which is unusual for a site with only 2 of them. They are semi-open, big enough for a group to spread out or for a small motorhome or trailer to fit, and the spot draws picnickers and huckleberry pickers in the Nelson area.
Camping is first come, first served on gravel access, with a boat launch and fishing on the lake.
Slocan is about 14 km away for supplies and fuel is about the same distance. Crusader Cabin is about 9 km out, the Kokanee Creek old growth about 12 km, the Lemon Creek Trailhead about 13 km, and the Nelson and Kaslo trail network, 226 mountain bike trails, starts about 21 km away.
