SourceWaterfall views from a forested creekside camp are the draw at Stockdale Creek in the Invermere area, and it works as a base for exploring farther up the valley.
The 2 sites are first come, first served, and the access is rated four-wheel drive. Hiking is the listed activity, and the Lake of the Hanging Glacier Trailhead is about 10 km away.
Panorama Mountain Village is about 21 km back down and gas about 30 km, so the last pump you pass is the one that matters. Irish Lake is about 7 km off.
