About this site
SourceA forested lakeside camp with mountains in the view, Dogleg Lake works for paddling, fishing, and sitting at a picnic table doing neither. The cartop launch handles a canoe and nothing bigger.
There are 6 sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and the site is user-maintained. Expect company through the summer months.
Edgewater is about 10 km away with an Independent station at about the same distance, so the errands take one stop. The Radium Wetlands are about 8 km off, the Redstreak Creek trailhead about 16 km, and the Columbia Valley's 78 mountain bike trails about 20 km.
