About this site

Source

Bring a canoe. Baird Lake is a small forested site near Enderby built around a cartop launch, which suits paddlers and light boats more than it suits a trailered runabout.

Access is four wheel drive only, so leave the low car at home. Count on 7 sites, first come, first served. Maintenance falls to users, so plan on being self-sufficient.

The lake is about 0.3 km from camp. The nearest fuel is roughly 16 km away and Grindrod about 24 km, so buy groceries before you head up. The Larch Hills trails at Salmon Arm are about 26 km off.
