About this site
SourceGrassy Lake is a shore fishing lake first. The bank is marshy, which is exactly why it works for kids with a rod: they can fish from the edge without a boat and without going far from camp.
There is one campsite, first come, first served. Access is gravel, and both rough and slow, so allow more time than the distance suggests. The lake is a hundred metres or so from the site.
Fuel is about 19 km out and Swansea Point about 20 km, so buy gas and groceries before you commit to the road in. The Larch Hills trails near Salmon Arm are about 23 km away if you bring bikes.
