About this site
SourceJust off Mabel Lake Road in the Enderby area, Cooke Creek camps you on the Shuswap River, where the water is clear enough that people swim and dive it. Fishing is the steady draw, and the autumn salmon run gives you a reason to come later in the year. Trails run through the trees and along the bank.
It runs 22 sites, first come, first served at $18 a night, with a boat launch and gravel access.
Grindrod is about 20 km away, though gas is closer at about 13 km. Hidden Lake is about 4 km off, and the Larch Hills trails near Salmon Arm are about 21 km if you bring bikes.
