About this site
SourceCottonwood Beach Recreation Site is a medium-sized camp on the east shore of Mabel Lake with a sandy beach made for swimming and long afternoons. Road access is good gravel; launching a boat is best done with all-wheel or four-wheel drive.
The site holds 49 first come, first served sites, with hiking close by when the beach loses its grip.
This shore is remote: Swansea Point, the nearest listed community, is about 29 km away and fuel about 25 km, so arrive with the tank and coolers full.
