About this site
SourceBarnes Lake is a rainbow trout lake a short drive from Ashcroft, with camping about 0.3 km from the water. Fly fishing and trolling are the standard approaches.
The camp has 15 defined vehicle sites, first come, first served, with gravel access. Blue green algae has been confirmed in the lake, so check current advisories before anyone, dogs included, gets in the water.
Ashcroft is about 3.5 km away and the Chevron about 3.7 km, close enough that you can set up first and shop after. Willard Lake is roughly 1.9 km from camp.
