About this site

Source

Steelhead Provincial Park sits where Kamloops Lake narrows into the Thompson River near Savona, with 240 m of lake beach and a full kilometre of river frontage. Highway 1 travellers use it as an easy overnight; boaters and anglers stay longer.

About 50 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access, with a boat launch, swimming, hiking and biking on hand.

Savona is under 2 km away with small-town basics, and the nearest listed fuel is about 4 km, so the logistics run themselves.
