SourceWest shore camping on Sugar Lake, at the 9 Mile site, looking east at Sugar Mountain, which stands 2190 m. The morning sun comes up over the water from that side.
There are 7 sites, first come, first served, with gravel access, a boat launch and fishing. The Sugar Lake recreation sites do not take reservations, so plan around that, and dogs need to be under control.
Cherryville is about 21 km away and the Cherryville Emporium there handles fuel, so it is one stop for both. Kate Lake is about 9 km off.
