About this site

Source

Sugar Creek sits on the east shore of Sugar Lake near Cherryville, with a good beach and the water right in front of camp. You can drive in or arrive by boat.

Leave the big trailer at home: the entry is narrow and rough and turning around is very difficult, so this works for tents, vans and small units. There are 17 sites at $18 a night, first come, first served, on gravel.

Cherryville is about 20 km back for supplies and the Cherryville Emporium sells fuel at roughly the same distance, so buy it there rather than counting on anything closer. The Vidler Ridge trailhead is about 12.5 km away and Kate Lake about 8 km.
