SourceSugar Lake 2 Mile is a large, open recreation site with multiple camping spots and good gravel access, and like every Sugar Lake site it takes no reservations: arriving early is the whole strategy.
Sites run $18 a night, first come, first served. A boat launch puts you onto water with good fishing, which is what most people are here for. Keep dogs under control; the site asks it and the neighbours appreciate it.
Cherryville is the closest listed community at about 16 km, with fuel at the Cherryville Emporium about the same distance, so provision before the last stretch.
