SourceThe lake here covers 146 ha and holds good numbers of small rainbow trout, which makes Ideal Lake an easy place to bring kids fishing near Kelowna.
Camping is 7 sites, first come, first served, on gravel roads, and the site is user maintained. The way in follows the road running south out of Specs Lakes.
Ellison is about 21 km off for supplies, with the Race Trac about 22 km, so top up before the turnoff. Wollaston Lake is about 5 km away and the Postill trailhead parking about 9 km.
