SourceSun Peaks Bike Park is 11.4 km from Heffley Lake, which makes this a workable base for a weekend of laps: 44 trails up the hill, and a lake to fish when you are done.
The site has 30 campsites, first come, first served, with gravel access. One thing to know before hitching up a boat is that the launch has been closed to trailered boats because of low water.
Whitecroft is 5.4 km away and fuel is 16.1 km at the Heffley Creek Tempo. The Harper Mountain bike area is 14.4 km, and Andy Lake 5.1 km.
