SourceFly fishers have a reason to know this one. Community Lake is 40 hectares of stocked rainbow trout sitting at about 1370 m, and the height keeps the fishing going through the summer. The southwest site puts nine campsites on it.
Camping is first come, first served at $15 a night, on gravel access.
Whitecroft is about 10 km away and the Heffley Creek Tempo about 15 km, so fuel and groceries take a small detour. Sun Peaks Bike Park and its 44 trails are about 14 km from camp, and Devick Lake about 2.5 km.
