SourceMeadow Lake is a small user-maintained site about 0.5 km from the water in the Vanderhoof area. The shoreline is swampy, so a canoe or cartop boat is the way to get out; a trailered boat is not going in here.
There are 3 sites, first come, first served, on gravel road access. Hunting camps use it in the fall and anglers work the lake the rest of the time.
Services are distant. Punchaw is about 24 km away and the nearest fuel, at Bednesti Lake Resort, is roughly 51 km, so carry enough fuel for the round trip.
