SourcePelican Lake South is a two-section site near Quesnel, though only the lower sites at lake level are in use. The pine beetle trees have been cleared out, which has opened the place up and left no shortage of downed wood for a fire.
There are 4 sites, all first come, first served, on gravel. A canoe is the right tool here, and there is a launch for getting it in.
This is a long way from anything. Punchaw is about 32 km out and the nearest fuel roughly 44 km at the Three Nations Store and Lodge, so fill up and stock up first. The lake is about 1.5 km from camp.
