SourceOn the edge of Kinbasket Reservoir in the Valemount area, Yellowjacket Creek is a 10 unit site with hiking from camp and big water in front of it.
Sites are first come, first served at $14 a night, reached on gravel. Canoe Reach Marina is about 3.5 km away if you are launching something bigger than a canoe.
Valemount is about 21 km out for fuel and groceries, so buy what you need on the way in. The same trip covers Valemount's 67 mountain bike trails, about 20 km from camp, and Albreda Lake is about 11 km away.
