SourceRight on the edge of Valemount, Yellowhead Campground is the convenient option rather than the remote one. Town is about 0.6 km away and the Esso about 0.7 km, so groceries and fuel are barely a detour. It is a paid campground with room for RVs.
Riding is the other reason to stop. Valemount's network of 67 trails starts about 1.2 km from the sites, which makes this an easy base for a couple of days on the bike.
Little Cranberry Lake is about 5.1 km out when you want water instead of singletrack.
