SourceKeynton Lake, also called Bell Lake, is a small lake with a rustic dock in the Hazelton area, camped in semi-open forest about 0.5 km from the water. Anglers come for pan-sized cutthroat trout in spring and fall, and birdwatchers use it too.
There are 5 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, with a boat launch. Hunters are around in the fall, which is worth knowing if you camp late in the year.
This one is close to services. Carnaby is about 6 km away and an Esso about 9 km, so a forgotten item is not a lost afternoon.
