About this site
SourceA sand and gravel beach on the north shore of Tchesinkut Lake is the draw at Agate Point, with swimming, a boat launch and several fish species in the lake. Keep vehicles off the shoreline, since it is sensitive fish habitat.
The site is small: 3 first come, first served sites on gravel, with picnic tables and an outhouse.
Tchesinkut Lake is about 6 km away and the nearest fuel about 16 km, so pick up fuel before the drive in. Faber Lake sits about 9 km off, the Bear Dens Trail about the same, and Burns Lake, with 47 mountain bike trails, is about 16 km out.
