About this site
SourceKager Lake is a short hop from Burns Lake, with a mix of drive in and walk in sites, a non-motorized boat launch and a large T-shaped dock. An easy 3 km trail loops the lake, and you can swim from camp.
There are 26 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access, plus an overflow camping area.
Burns Lake is about 4 km away for groceries and fuel, so you can camp here without stocking up first. The town's mountain bike network runs 47 trails from about 4 km out, the Kager Lake trailhead is right by the sites, and the Omineca Ski Club, the Bear Dens trail and the Eagle Creek Opal Beds trail are all about 7 km off.
